GENERAL.
this is an 18+ venue. you must be 18+ ooc to enter.
mature content warning. our venue is rp-forward, and could be considered a "heavy-rp" venue. note that we do allow dark/mature themed content in our public chat spaces (EXCEPT for NSFW—please keep any and all NSFW content to private channels).
IC & OOC.
cost of goods is ic (no actual gil required). the cost of room & board is dependent on the length of your flight. see menu for food and drink pricing in the lounge. feel free to "pay" the bartender IC or add things to your tab, but there is no need to exchange actual in-game currency!
* tips are appreciated, but not necessary! if a member of <o&w> or other ic staff is present and you'd like to tip or donate, please feel free!
please be clear about ic vs ooc. use the rp tag while on the premises in-character or specify to those interacting with you whether you're ic or ooc. either is fine, as long as there are no blurred lines between ic and ooc.
please keep ooc weapons and minions sheathed & hidden. this venue does allow weapons and minions on the premises if they are in-character, but do keep in mind the setting (airship: mid-flight or docked).
please be respectful about sharing space. if someone is using a room or upstairs bunk, ask & communicate before intruding. because household members are the only ones who can interact with the bay doors, they will remain closed for privacy (you can run through them to get inside).
CONDUCT.
we have a strict no tolerance policy for: bigotry (homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc), harassment, drama, etc. since this is a mostly unstaffed venue, please use common sense to determine if your behavior is appropriate.
please refrain from griefing. do not come aboard to troll or grief other patrons. no spamming of emotes, no spamming abilities, etc.
failure to comply with these rules may result in you being asked to leave, or banned. we're all here to have fun writing our silly little stories. please try your best to conduct yourself respectfully!

with passengers aboard, the ship's crew was easily persuaded to begin serving food and libations drawn from the ample stores in the small rear cargo bay... for the right price, of course.

if you know anything about alcohol—and you probably know enough—you can hazard a guess that the booze in a place like this will either be very good or very bad. lucky for you, it looks like this bar is fully stocked...that's a good sign, right?

maybe you thought this was just a bar, but spend a moment more in observation and you spot a strange assortment of brewing machines sitting unattended amid the boxes and barrels in the bay, ready to work for the world-weathered traveler. not quite freight, the bartender keeps them clean and tidy for custom.

there's a section chalked onto the menu labeled "specialty drinks", backed by a wash of pastel-tinted grey where the cleaning rag couldn't lift the last round of pigment all the way. so, yeah, they must change these every once in a while—probably means they're fresh imported, though. it is a cargo ship, after all.

the bartender isn't wearing a hat or an apron, so you can only assume the food that filters in and out of the bar must come from elsewhere—somewhere in the belly of the ship, perhaps...the same kitchen that feeds the permanent crew. the bartender will take your order, though, and they'll be the one who hands it to you, still piping hot, once it's finished in the "back".

a hearty platter of shredded meats and seafood mixed with fruits and vegetables and garnished with hard-boiled eggs. seasoned with vinegar, oil, and spices. a favorite of pirates.ingredients depend on availability.

you get the idea that baked goods don't keep well on long journeys, but someone onboard clearly has a sweet tooth. the chalkboard says "fresh-baked", underlined twice below a header proclaiming cakes, muffins, and breads with great visual abandon. the hand that scrawled the items there is straight, clinical, calculated—different from the rest of the menu.

moist and fluffy, this cake is flavored with melted chocolate and kukuru bean powder and topped with whipped cream dusted with chocolate flakes. sold by the slice.
